How many books can a student check out?
Two (2) books can be checked out. However, a student with overdue books or charges (lost/damaged book, etc.) will not be allowed to check out a new book until all books are returned and/or charges are paid.
What is the book renewal policy?
Books are checked out for two (2) weeks, but students can renew books once for an additional two (2) weeks.
Are students allowed to check out magazines and reference books?
Only select magazines and reference books can be checked out; when in doubt, see Mrs. Wright. These materials are checked out for one night only.
How will I know when my materials are due?

Library Rules
- Students are always welcome in the CMS Library, but they must have a note from their language arts teacher or an administrator if they come to the library outside of a regularly scheduled visit, i.e. during smart block.
- Students must sign in if they visit the library and they are not with a class.
- Library computers/printers are used for school-related assignments.
- NO FOOD, DRINK, or GUM in the library.
